link to your latest blog post in your email signature

About Us

No, BlogSigs is not another Web 2.0 feature trying to be a company! It’s simply a utility built by two venture capitalists who like to blog and wanted a convenient way of inserting a link to our latest blog posts into our email signatures. As ever, necessity is the mother of invention!

The project also serves as an example of the potential of offshore software development outsourcing: the application was built by a Lithuanian developer we met via the Internet, while the web site similarly was crafted by a talented team in Argentina.

We hope you find this applet to be as useful as we do, and please let us know your feedback!

David Feinleib is a Partner at venture capital firm Mohr Davidow Ventures. He loves working with great entrepreneurs, especially those who embrace the power of the Internet. He maintains a blog at www.vcdave.com. He conceived of the idea for BlogSigs as a way to drive more readers to his blog, and to help companies promote themselves via email.
Tom Cole is a General Partner at a venture capital firm called Trinity Ventures. When he’s not busy finding the next great software or Internet startup to invest in, he writes a blog called Consuming Ambitions that explores his foodie passions. In his younger years, he developed software at startups such as Approach Software as well as big companies such as Oracle. In his spare time he still loves to tinker and build things such as BlogSigs.
